周六早上加入我们! 星期六早上干 is a five class series of hands-on experiences designed to introduce middle and high school students to Science 技术, 工程与数学(STEM).
星期六早上干 Middle School Sessions:
五年级和六年级的机器人 is designed to make learning both educational and enjoyable. From constructing their own robots to programming them, participants will experience the thrill of turning ideas into reality. 由经验丰富的老师和助理指导, 学生将与同龄人合作, fostering teamwork and communication skills in a supportive environment.
7年级和8年级通过电子竞技探索STEM will introduce students to the world of eSports with a particular focus on digital design. 五、六年级 能源与可持续发展 will provide students with an opportunity to investigate aquatic and terrestrial environments, and the role engineers play in shaping and protecting those environments. 讨论环境问题, 比如生物圈, 生态系统, and watersheds; conservation and sustainability; energy and energy sources; weather and climate, 工程设计过程. Experiments are set up to investigate environmentally relevant topics.

Students will learn basic robot movement using a VEX V5 robot, 使用来自不同类型传感器的反馈, create complex programs using loops and decision-making logic, and program the robot to use its vision sensor (camera).

九年级和十年级新兴技术 aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of Brain Computer Interface (BCI) technology and its applications. The course begins by exploring the fundamentals of neuroscience and the structure and function of neurons in the brain, which generate the electrical signals analyzed in later lessons. 打下坚实的基础, the focus shifts to developing personal cognitive skills through the practice of neurofeedback. Students will learn how to train their brains to operate according to their desired outcomes, starting with attention metrics and progressing to various engaging activities. 在最后一个模块中, students will delve into the world of brain-powered device control, learning how to design and build their own BCI devices and conceptualizing innovative ideas for implementation.

第9和第10届数据科学 will introduce students to the exciting world of data science through the lens of professional sports, teaching them the foundational concepts and skills required to explore and analyze data. Through hands-on projects and real-world applications, students will gain a strong understanding of data science and its practical uses. Practical data science projects will be incorporated to provide hands-on experience in applying data science techniques to solve real-world problems.
